Privacy Policy

Personally identifiable information, including your name and e-mail address, is kept confidential. It will not be sold to, or shared with, other parties for any reason, unless required by law. (Except in specific circumstances solely for the purpose of indicating authorship - see below)

Your e-mail address will never be sold to, given to, or shared with, another party for commercial purposes, including for the purpose of sending unsolicited commercial email, or "spam".

Your e-mail address will only be used to send you important information regarding The Manbottle Library, unless you explicitly specify otherwise. Further, it is our intention to keep these notifications to an absolute minimum.

We will never use an "opt-out" mailing list, any mailing list we use will be strictly "opt-in" (meaning that you must explicitly specify that you want to joint that list).

If you send us the correct answer to a trivia question, your name may be posted with the trivia answer on the Manbottle Library website, and included in an e-mail to members of our mailing list. Additionally, your name may be posted to the Manbottle Library "Wall of Fame" webpage. If you prefer not to have your name disclosed in this manner, please indicate this when sending your answer to the trivia question.

If you send us a joke, image, humorous item, original work, or other item or interest, your name may be included in an e-mail to members of our mailing list. (Typically, your name will not be included with the item if it is posted to the Manbottle Library website, unless you indicate that the item is an original work.) If you prefer not to have your name disclosed in this manner, please indicate this when sending the item of interest.

Any original works sent to The Manbottle Library or Wiggins Professional Services, Inc. (WPS), and identified by the author as an original work, will remain the property of the author. By submitting an original work to The Manbottle Library the author agrees to grant The Manbottle Library a non-exclusive right to publish the original work indefinitely. The author may end this agreement at any time by providing written notice 30 days in advance. (Email may be accepted as written notice.)

Any correspondence, sent to The Manbottle Library or Wiggins Professional Services, Inc. (WPS) becomes the property of WPS. (This includes any e-mail and postal mail. It also includes correspondence submitted via any online form on the Manbottle Library website. This does not include the text of any original work which may be included in the correspondence.) The text of said correspondence may on occasion be posted to the Manbottle Library website, unless you explicitly specify that the correspondence is to be "private" or "confidential". (Except for your name, any personally identifiable information in said corresponence will be obscured. If you prefer to remain anonymous, please indicate this in your correspondence, and your name will be obscured as well.)

Cookies are used within The Manbottle Library only to store "state" information between pages, and to maintain an accurate count of unique visitors. Cookies are never transmitted to other sites or parties other than The Manbottle Library. Cookies are never used in connection with personally identifiable information to collect information about individual visitors. Cookies may be disabled at any time through the security settings of your browser. (Note: some features of the Manbottle Library may not function correctly when cookies are disabled.)

The Manbottle Library contains advertising provided by various advertising brokers. All brokers used by The Manbottle Library must maintain a privacy policy explicitly stating that they will not collect any personally identifiable information from any visitors to The Manbottle Library website.
